Goose Gym Beginner's Guide: Piggy Bank Clicks and Board Space

A Goose Gym starting plan: merge-2 orders, the piggy bank click limits, and the board-space rules that keep your gym moving without wasting a bank.

Your board is full, an order is waiting, and the game keeps handing you energy boxes. Goose Gym is not asking you to match three; it is asking you to spend space carefully and stop tapping the piggy bank too early. The English title is a working translation and the game currently runs in Chinese, so the item names below are readable labels, not terms you can search for in a store.

Orders are the engine, merging is the verb

This is an order-driven merge-2 game. Two identical items combine into the next tier, so a single glove becomes a pair and the pair becomes a pro glove. Finished board orders pay stars, stars fund gym upgrades, and upgrades feed back into merge speed. That loop is the whole economy.

The consequence: merging is not housekeeping. Every merge either moves an order forward or clears a square for the next order, and a merge that does neither is usually one you can delay until the board forces the issue.

If two identical pieces are on the board and an order wants that tier, merge them; stars are the only thing that moves the gym forward. If an order asks for a tier you cannot reach yet, keep building the lower chain rather than selling the parts you already have.

The piggy bank is a click budget

Every bank level has a click limit, and tapping below the top level consumes budget that belongs to a higher one.

Bank levelTapsRule
114Stop at 14; the 15th tap pops the bank
20Do not tap it at all
30Do not tap it at all
468Tap all 68 for the payout

A level-4 bank pays over 100 diamonds plus a large coin payout, and building one takes about eight days. That is why the bank is worth hoarding: one level-4 payout beats several low-level pops, and the eight-day build time is the price of that difference. A level-1 bank costs fourteen taps and a level-4 bank costs sixty-eight, but the payout gap is far wider than the tap gap. If you have a level-1 bank, stop at 14 taps and merge two of them. If you already tapped a level-2 bank, that budget is gone permanently, so do not tap it again.

Board space is the resource you actually spend

Low-level energy balls occupy squares, and a board packed with small orbs cannot accept anything new. Open energy boxes two or three at a time rather than all at once, and stockpile tree pouches instead of scattering them across the board. The flower pot produces few pouches, so tapping the pot and storing the pouches is the space-efficient move, and the chain then runs from pouch to seed once an order needs it.

If you open a box and cannot make a merge with what came out, stop opening boxes until you clear room. If you are about to open a box and the board has fewer than two free squares, clear a merge first, or the box's contents will be stranded. If your board is packed, early pillows can be sold for space, but raise their quality before selling because the payout improves.

Supermarket first, then the safe upgrade ceilings

The supermarket is the highest-priority fixture because it produces keys, boxes, glasses, pillows and toolboxes, which feed almost every other chain. Equipment only needs level 5, and you want at least four level-5 pieces before pushing any single piece to 6. The trophy cup should not be merged before level 30. Pink and black handbags should reach level 2 before you unlock them. The lost-and-found station runs its own merge set, so keep its pieces separate from the main equipment chain.

If you are choosing the next fixture to build, the supermarket pays into every other chain, so it goes first. If a trophy cup appears before level 30, leave it on the board; it takes space and stamina for a payoff you cannot use yet. If you are one piece away from level 6, stop and bring three more pieces to level 5 first.

FAQ

Should I tap the level-2 piggy bank?

No. Level-2 and level-3 banks should not be tapped at all, because those taps consume the click budget that belongs to a higher-level bank.

What should I upgrade first?

The supermarket. It produces the keys, boxes, glasses, pillows and toolboxes that the rest of the board depends on.

Why is my board always full?

Low-level energy balls and unopened boxes take squares. Open boxes two or three at a time and stockpile tree pouches instead of spreading them out.
